Try lobstering or just enjoy the coast with Linda Greenlaw Charters
Share
Full disclosure, Linda Greenlaw is a neighbor who we see when we take our boat out at the dock at Perry’s Lobster Shack, which we will tell you about in more detail here. But that is not why I am writing about her charters. When my in-laws were in town a couple of years ago, we were looking for something different, entertaining, outdoors, and that would not involve hiking or swimming in the freezing-cold Maine ocean. We chose Linda Greenlaw Charters and two years later, we are still talking about that magical day.
This is Maine, so you can imagine there are many different charters to choose from; we have been to several out of Bar Harbor and Southeast Harbor on Mount Desert Island that were enjoyable.
What we like most about Linda’s charters is:
- You get a different perspective of MDI and the surrounding communities.
- Linda and her crew are wonderful storytellers and conversationalists.
- They know all the spots for the experiences you are hoping for (i.e., seal resting spots, celebrity homes, lobstering, fishing, bald eagles, meeting seafaring Mainers, etc.)
- They are wonderful with kids of all ages. We’ve even had her stop by our boat and ask if we had additional wine glasses for her passengers after first asking if we had any Grey Poupon, of course!

There are many different charter experiences to choose from, so I highly recommend checking out her website, giving them a call at 1-207-266-9831, or shooting an email to Linda's team!
FYI
Be sure and connect directly with the store for hours and product selection. We do our best to provide accurate information, but info may change from when we published our post. In Maine, we highly recommend you not only check out the store deets on Google, you should check their social media and call the store itself. Most businesses update store hours and closures on Facebook.
